Welcome to Wacontacts . By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any services we provide (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Wacontacts . Businesses must provide accurate registration information.
3. Services We Provide
Wacontacts offers the following core services:
- Business listings and marketplace visibility
- WhatsApp Cloud API integrations for communications
- Analytics, insights, and customer engagement tools
- Paid promotional features (Basic, Featured, Premium plans)
- User-generated content hosting (business data, images, descriptions)
4. WhatsApp API Integration
When connecting a WhatsApp number to Wacontacts, you authorize us to use the WhatsApp Cloud API to send and receive messages, manage templates, and provide analytics. You agree to comply with all WhatsApp Business Platform policies, including limits on promotional content, template approvals, consent requirements, and acceptable use rules.
Wacontacts is not responsible for actions taken by Meta, including rate limits, suspensions, or template rejections.
5. User-Generated Content
Users may submit business information, images, descriptions, logos, catalog data, and other content (“User Content”). You represent that you own or have permission to use all User Content you post.
By submitting User Content, you grant Wacontacts a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and modify the content for purposes of operating and improving the Service.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Paid Plans & Billing
Wacontacts offers the following premium plans:
- Basic Plan
- Featured Plan
- Premium Plan
Payment is required for enhanced visibility, marketplace placement, and premium features. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law. Prices may change, but you will be notified in advance.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam or unauthorized promotional messages
- Violate WhatsApp Business Platform rules
- Impersonate another person or business
- Post unlawful, misleading, or harmful content
- Interfere with the security or performance of the Service
8. Data Collection & Retention
We collect business information, user account data, usage analytics, and logs related to WhatsApp communication. Personal data and business records are retained for a maximum of 12 months after account deactivation, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the platform, default on payments, or breach WhatsApp policies. You may also delete your account at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform features, logos, trademarks, software, and content—except User Content—belong to Wacontacts and may not be copied or reused without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Wacontacts is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We are not responsible for business losses, missed messages, API outages, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
