Every seller on the marketplace has a live WaContacts page. These habits keep your money safe too.

Pay with Buyer Protection

Where a seller offers it, pay by card with Buyer Protection on. Your money waits in escrow until the order arrives.

How escrow works

Look for Verified

Verified sellers have shown WaContacts their ID or business registration.

What Verified means

Check the seller’s page

Look at their other products, photos, reviews and how long they have been selling.

Ask before you pay

Chat with the seller about sizes, colours, delivery time and cost. A good seller answers clearly.

Be careful with transfers

Money sent straight to a seller’s bank account is not covered by Buyer Protection. For a first order, prefer card checkout or pickup.

Never share codes

No seller or WaContacts staff will ask for your card PIN, OTP or password. Do not share them with anyone.

Picking up in person

  • Meet in a busy public place in daylight, or at the seller’s shop.
  • Check the item before you pay.
  • Bring someone along for expensive items.
